GCSO EXPLORER'S MISSION.

The purpose of the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office Explorer Program is to provide area youth an understanding of the role of law enforcement and to encourage members to become active in the community through service projects. Members are taught aspects of law enforcement to not only understand what law enforcement officers must deal with but also to assist the explorers in deciding if a career in law enforcement is best for them. Explorers are also taught discipline, management, public speaking, and how to effectively interact with various types of people.
